"Ghostbusters 3" production to kick off in summer![]() October 18, 2012 - 18:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Good word has come from the very long-gestating "Ghostbusters 3" project. While some fans have been speculating that the project might be dead after all, it is now said that the movie still moves forward with Ivan Reitman expected to kick off the production in summer 2013, AceShowbiz said. The report is broken by Deadline, which states that Reitman is set "to finally get the long-gestating Ghostbusters reboot in front of the cameras next summer for Sony Pictures." The pic will happen anyway without Bill Murray returning as the lead character Dr. Peter Venkman. Judging from the possible summer 2013 start date, the third "Ghostbusters" film is likely prepared to be released sometime in 2014, coinciding with the original movie's 30th anniversary celebration. "Ghostbusters 3" has been in development for years, but its fate remained unclear after Murray refused to reprise his role. Though so, Dan Aykroyd who played Ray in the original film insisted that the third pic would move forward and would likely focus on new generation of the ghost catcher gang. "My character, Ray, is now blind in one eye and can't drive the cadillac," Aykroyd once said. "He's got a bad knee and can't carry the packs... Egon [originally played by Harold Ramis] is too large to get into the harness. We need young blood and that's the promise. We're gonna hand it to a new generation." Ara Aivazian said Azerbaijan continues the traditions of Turkey after seizing territories and forced Armenians out. The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest. She called on others to also suspend their accounts over the companies’ failure to tackle hate speech. Penderecki was known for his film scores, including for William Friedkin’s “The Exorcist”, Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining”. Partner news |
