OSKANIAN INVITED CYPRIOT FM TO ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Cyprus Ambassador to Armenia Leonidas Pantelides has presented copies of the credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian, the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia reported. In the course of the meeting V. Oskanian congratulated the Ambassador and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Armenia. The Minister said he was sure that the newly appointed Ambassador will promote intensification of the cooperation between Armenia and Cyprus, activation of the commercial and economic relations, as well as the development of bilateral cooperation within international organizations. In his turn, the Cypriot diplomat appreciated the traditional friendly ties between Armenia and Cyprus, specially underscoring the role of the Armenian community of the Republic of Cyprus. He briefed the Minister on the process of the settlement of the Cypriot problem and expressed readiness to development of political and economic relations between the two countries, accentuating sharing Cyprus' experience in Eurointegration with Armenia. Vartan Oskanian officially invited the Foreign Minister of the Cyprus to visit Armenia.
