Association agreement obligates Armenia to implement EU legislation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanian delivered a lecture on Armenia-EU cooperation at Yerevan State University Center for European Studies.

At the event, Mnatskakanian briefed the students on different aspects of Armenia-EU cooperation.

“Reforms in Armenia are a key point in foreign policy agenda of the cooperation in question. Also, Association agreement talks currently in progress will promote a higher level of ties with EU.

The agreement covers a number of issues including political dialogue, external security, economy, obligating Armenia to implement European legislation to promote formation of a unified legal field,” the official said.
