State Property Dept chief explains sale of Foreign Ministry building![]() October 24, 2012 - 14:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of State Property Management Department explained the sale of Foreign Ministry building to Armenian Argentinean entrepreneur Eduardo Eurnekian by the latter’s offer to buy it at higher-than-market price. As Arman Sahakyan told the October 24 news conference in Yerevan, a sale of any government-owned building is possible. “We’re ready to consider any good offers,” Sahakyan said, calling attention to the buildings of Yerevan Conservatory and Ministry of Transport and Communication. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision. Kerobyan has said that for the first time in the history of Armenia, the volume of foreign direct investments amounted to about $1 billion. Partner news |
