Paper: Armenian MP offered Russian CB deputy head’s post![]() October 30, 2012 - 10:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Aravot daily, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has been offered the post of the Russian Central Bank first deputy president. A number of bankers and businessmen promote lobbying activities for Prime Minister Sargsyan in Moscow, with Russian energy company Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller and CIS Finance and Banking Council President Andrey Kostin among them. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev himself made the offer to his Armenian counterpart during a meeting in Yalta, Ukraine, the paper says. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
