ARMENIANS SHOULD CONTINUE EFFORTS ON GENOCIDE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - «We must continue efforts on acknowledgement of the Armenian Genocide and from that point of view any step should be purposeful,» Nagorno Karabakh Republic Foreign Minister Arman Melikian stated at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to Victims of the Armenian Genocide today. In his words, Armenians of Nagorno Karabakh, the Diaspora and Armenia should unite their efforts to promote work at the civil and state levels. The impunity of the genocide in early 20-th century resulted in slaughter in Sumgait, perpetrated by Azeri authorities. As noted by A. Melikian, Nagorno Karabakh has claims that can be presented to the international community and Azerbaijan.
