Armenia to participate in China International Wine & Spirits Fair![]() November 2, 2012 - 21:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Development Agency (ADA) is organizing Armenian companies’ participation in China (Beijing) International Wine & Spirits Fair, to held November 4-6 in Beijing. “The exhibition will contribute to the development of bilateral relations and will promote Armenian beverages in the Chinese market,” ADA press service reported. Yerevan Brandy Factory, Shahnazaryan Wine-Brandy House and Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factorywill participate in the event. Wine and brandy making development is an export-oriented priority area in Armenian government’s industrial strategy, with China having expressed readiness to offer assistance to the companies of the sector. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
