Aghasi Aghasyan wins silver at University Weightlifting Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 3rd World University Weightlifting Championship is ongoing in Israeli city of Eilat.

Armenia’s Aghasi Aghasyan (85 kg) lifted a total of 350 kg to win silver, with Russia’s Artem Okulov coming first with a total of 357 kg result.

Meanwhile, Vahram Gevorgyan (85 kg) lifted 340 kg to come 5th.

Smbat Margaryan (56 kg) and Vanik Avetisyan (69 kg) won bronze earlier, with Samvel Grigoryan (77 kg) grabbing silver.

Andranik Hovhannisyan and Hayk Hakobyan will also represent Armenia at the championship.
