Prosperous Armenia denies offering ex-mayor to run for president

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prosperous Armenia has offered ex-mayor of Yerevan, ArmRosGazprom former director Karen Karapetyan nether to run for president, nor assume the prime minister’s post, the party’s parliamentary group secretary said.

“Official information has been provided as to the purpose of Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s visit to Moscow.

He returned to Yerevan on November 8 after receiving “Person of the Year” award. The rest is complete disinformation,” Naira Zohrabyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

As Hraparak daily reported earlier, Moscow-based Prosperous Armenia elite are trying to persuade ex-mayor Karen Karapetyan to run for president or take over the post of prime minister.
