  Armenian army power deters Azerbaijan – expert November 9, 2012 - 15:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian army is the reason Azerbaijan is not putting its threats into actions, a military expert said. “Monitoring of Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line must go beyond formal, with international structures being able to curb Azeri aggression through specifically developed mechanisms. Armenia’s army is up to the task,” David Jamalyan told a news conference in Yerevan. On Nov 7, a border monitoring was held at Armenian village of Aygepar, Tavush province, where most instances of Azeri ceasefire violation were reported. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
