Gyumri former Mayor’s son appears at police

PanARMENIAN.Net - The son of former Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, Spartak, voluntarily appeared at police station on Sunday, Nov 11.

The information was provided to PanARMENIAN.Net by the head of police press service Armen Malkhasyan, with the details to be given later.

According to earlier reports, Spartak Ghukasyan was wanted by police in a case of shooting in Gyumri, on charges of hooliganism and illegal possession of weapons.

As the preliminary investigation discovered, a candidate for Gyumri City Council membership Edgar Mkrtchyan along with his supporters were also involved in the skirmish.
