Genocide Museum-Institute new building construction kicks off![]() November 12, 2012 - 22:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The construction of the new building of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute has kicked off, museum director said. “Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan approved the project, with the construction works already started. Sashur Kalashyan is the project author,” Hayk Demoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. According to him, the new building will be inaugurated on April 24, 2015, ahead of Armenian Genocide 100th anniversary. “The main building of the museum will be used for showcasing archival documents. The number of the Genocide archives has twice increased in the past four years,” Mr. Demoyan said, adding that the museum is regularly enriched with new documents. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners. The number of state universities will be reduced from 23 to 8 by 2030, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has said. Partner news |
