TURKISH SPEAKER PROTESTS AGAINST RUSSIAN PARLIAMENT ADOPTING STATEMENT ON ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Turkish Parliament Bulent Arinc has his visit to Russia scheduled in June to express protest against adoption of a statement acknowledging and censuring the Armenian Genocide by the Russian State Duma, reported RFE/RL. Having reported the message of the Turkish Speaker, AP reminded that a number of countries, including Argentine, Poland, Canada, France, Russia have acknowledged the Genocide and the Armenian lobby «puts pressure» upon the US Congress for passing a Resolution acknowledging the Armenian Genocide.
