Latvian FM hails constructive progress in Armenia-EU cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs hailed Latvia-Armenia friendship, expressing hope for further development of bilateral ties.

At a joint news conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian, the Latvian official welcomed constructive progress in Armenia-EU cooperation.

As Armenian Foreign Minister further noted, a range of economic issues, regional developments in Middle East, as well as Armenia’s efforts in Karabakh conflict settlement were discussed during his meeting with Mr. Rinkēvičs.

In this context, Mr. Nalbandian stressed Armenia’s adherence to Madrid Principles in peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict.
