Turkish FM urges OIC to recognize Syrian opposition![]() November 15, 2012 - 19:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called on members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Thursday, November 15 to recognize a fledgling Syrian opposition coalition as the legitimate representative of the Syrian people, Reuters reported. "Turkey ... once again reiterates its recognition of the Syrian National Coalition as the legitimate representative of the Syrian people and calls upon all our brothers in the OIC to do so," Davutoglu told an OIC ministerial meeting in Djibouti, according to the text of his speech. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
