 Paper: Republic Party head deems PAP’s backing Sargsyan possible November 17, 2012 - 13:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Republic Party leader Aram Sargsyan has voiced support for the presidential system of government, Aravot daily reported. Sargsyan didn’t rule out the possibility of President Serzh Sargsyan to pledge to put on vote the proposals issued during the ongoing political consultations, considering the common ground between the Prosperous Armenia and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia. “This will serve ground for Prosperous Armenia to announce decision on backing President Serzh Sargsyan. This will also benefit ARF Dashnaktsutyun,” the paper quoted Sargsyan as saying.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
