  Orinats Yerkir to back President Sargsyan, not RPA at polls – rep. November 17, 2012 - 16:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - True to its word, Orinats Yerkir will back current leader Serzh Sargsyan at presidential elections, the party’s deputy chair said. At news conference in Yerevan, Mher Shahgeldyan denied rumors suggesting Orinats Yerkir is a mere shadow of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). “Having no self-sufficiency issues, Orinats Yerkir has never been keen on showing off,” Shahgeldyan said. “Similarities in Orinats Yerkir and RPA policy lines are a result of coalitional cooperation. Its Serzh Sargsyan, rather than RPA that Orinats Yerkir will be supporting during presidential polls,” the politician stressed. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
