The charity auction was held during the 2012 U.S. Formula 1 Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, and it raised a total of $1.5 million for the American Red Cross. The F12 went for $1.125 Million, which is nearly four times more than the actual price of the car. The F12 Berlinetta is the replacement for the Ferrari 599.
