Official says EU integration priority for Armenia![]() November 19, 2012 - 17:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - European integration is a priority for Armenia’s foreign policy, co-chair of Armenia-EU parliamentary cooperation committee said. “Armenia is actively involved in cooperation programs with the European Union,” Samvel Farmanyan said during a discussion on November 19. He further deemed 2012 remarkable for Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement talks, with tangible progress recorded in negotiations on Armenia-EU Association Agreement, as well as Yerevan-Brussels bilateral visits and expansion of political dialogue. Mr. Farmanyan stressed the importance of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in deepening of ties with the EU. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
