“Women in Local Democracy” project participants meet in YerevanNovember 19, 2012 - 20:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan hosted a meeting of “Women in Local Democracy” project participants. The event aimed at establishing a cooperation network between media agencies and NGOs, which will, in turn, promote women’s role in local democratic. Editors-in -chief, journalists and NGO representatives from Yerevan and provinces attended the event. This project, implemented by Armenian Public Relations Association jointly with UNDP, is aimed at supporting the advancement of gender equality, building parity democracy and improving social cohesion in the Republic of Armenia.
