Paris Saint-Germain ready to make offer to Beckham

PanARMENIAN.Net - Paris Saint-Germain are among a host of leading clubs ready to offer David Beckham the final challenge of his illustrious career, BBC Sport reported.

Beckham, who announced he is to leave Los Angeles Galaxy, intends to make a decision on his future by mid-December.

He has received offers from Russia, China, Australia and Brazil.

The 37-year-old said he had a number of "exciting opportunities" available to him but would only make a decision after discussing it with his family.

"Retirement is something I'm not thinking about yet," said the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder. "I still feel I can take on another challenge, what that will be I don't know." The former England captain intends to use the time between now and the end of his contract with Galaxy to weigh up his many options.

PSG offered Beckham a multi-million pound contract to move to Paris last November but he opted not to accept the offer because of family reasons.

A number of leading clubs in Brazil and Russia have made their interest known, while the opportunity to play in China is understood to be under consideration. Among the offers is interest from South Africa.
