Yerevan boxing championships participants to fight in Adidas rings

PanARMENIAN.Net - Boxing Federation of Armenia continues preparations for AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships, due November 25-December 8 in Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports Complex.

As the federation’s press service representative told PanARMENIAN.Net teams of Georgia, Greece, France, Russia and Ireland have already arrived in Armenia.

Delegations representing Wales, Puerto Rico, England, Algeria, U.S., Tajikistan and Switzerland are expected to arrive in Yerevan on Nov 23-24, with other squads to come Nov 27. The accreditation of boxers, delegations and referees is scheduled for Nov 25-27. 70 countries have submitted applications.

The event organizations have purchased two modern Adidas boxing rings at AIBA’s request.
