Director Andrew Dominik has revealed that the film, which was delayed so that he could make Killing Them Softly, should go into production next year. He said that Naomi Watts is still attached despite reports that she had abandoned the project. "It's about her whole life," Dominik told The Playlist regarding the film. "It starts when she's 7 and it ends when she dies. "I love it," he continued. "It's my dream project and I've been working on it for years and years and years." Dominik has described the movie as an "emotional nightmare fairy tale". He is also known for his work on The Assassination of Jesse James and the Coward Robert Ford and Chopper.
