 RPA member slams Heritage leader’s remarks in Baku November 27, 2012 - 20:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group member has slammed any initiative envisaging a visit to Baku. As Hamlet Harutyunyan told a press conference, the visits imply political scandals as in the case of Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannissian. The MP further expressed dislike for “return of refugees” expression Hovannissian made during the Baku-hosted meeting, deeming it inappropriate after Azerbaijani criminal Ramil Safarov case. It’s noteworthy that Heritage party leader spoke of international law, saying that refugees have the right to return to the territories they lived in before the war. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
