“Armenia without Political Prisoners” group announces new protests

PanARMENIAN.Net - “Armenia without Political Prisoners” initiative group has issued a statement, signaling a start of series of protest actions slamming the authorities.

“The political persecution against the four young representatives of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), and the violence exerted against “Counterattack” group members prove the authorities’ intention to continue illegal policy of restricting freedom of speech, expression and thought. We urge citizens concerned about Armenia’s future to join the oncoming actions,” the statement reads.
