Armenia, Belarus discuss interparliamentary relationsDecember 5, 2012 - 18:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The chair of standing parliamentary committee on foreign relations Artak Zakaryan met Dec 5 with the ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Stepan Sukhorenko. The two men focused on Armenian-Belarusian inter-parliamentary relations, with cooperation perspectives in the international organizations also discussed. Mr. Zakaryan noted involvement of Belarusian delegation in the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly as a full-fledged member as a priority, with ambassador Sukhorenko expressing Minsk’s willingness to become an equal partner. The parliamentary elections in Belarus and intensification of the activities of Armenia-Belarus interparliamentary commission were further discussed, parliamentary press service reported.
