SPANISH HONORARY CONSUL TO ARMENIA TO BE APPOINTED

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian Parliament Speaker Artur Baghdasarian met with newly appointed Spanish Ambassador to Armenia Francisco Javier Elorsa Cavengt (residence in Moscow), RA NA press service reported. During the meeting the Ambassador noted that with the purpose to consolidate the Armenian-Spanish relations an Honorary Consul of Spain to Armenia will be appointed and a branch of the Servantes Institute will be opened. The Ambassador also noted that his task is to consolidate the cooperation between the two states, since the Armenian legislation and sustainable economic growth create favorable conditions for investments. In his turn Artur Baghdasarian pointed out to the importance of intergovernmental relations and development of interparliamentary ties stressing the cooperation in cultural, economic and scientific fields within international structures. Besides, the parties highlighted ties, which strengthen within Wider Europe: New Neighbors EU Program.
