December 5 marks International Volunteer Day

PanARMENIAN.Net - December 5 celebrates International Volunteer Day.

“100-150 volunteers annually visit Armenia to work on different projects of Birthright Armenia & Armenian Volunteer Corps. Besides Diaspora community representatives, Armenia also attracts a large number of foreigners from Poland, Malaysia, Lithuania and other countries. Many find Armenia a unique and interesting country, ready to share their Western experience,”Social Media & PR Coordinator at Birthright Armenia & Armenian Volunteer Corps Marianna Vardanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Established in 2000, the Armenian Volunteer Corps (AVC) is a registered, non-profit foundation in Armenia that provides skilled volunteers, 21 years of age and over, with the opportunity to share their talents with Armenia for terms ranging from one month to one year.
