Armenian Ombudsman: I owe nothing to RPA![]() December 10, 2012 - 16:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan presented 2012 statistical data of human rights violations by state organizations ahead of presidential elections. He noted that most violations were recorded by the prosecutor’s office, law enforcement agencies and the Justice Ministry. Dwelling on the relations with the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Mr. Andreasyan said, “Though I’m grateful to RPA for appointing me to the post, I owe nothing to the party.” ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
