The clip shows Henry Cavill as a brooding, somber Clark Kent/Superman, as well as glimpses of him as a young boy grappling with how (and when) to use his superpowers. They are also shots of Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Ma and Pa Kent, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Michael Shannon as the evil General Zod.
