Paper: 160 000 people emigrated from Armenia in past 3 years![]() December 13, 2012 - 16:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - More than 2 mln 53 thousand people left Armenia in January-November 2012, with 1 mln 981 thousand returning, which brings the number of those unreturned to 71374, Haykakan Zhamanak daily said, citing State Migration Service-provided data. “The number of those who haven't retuned to Armenia totaled 71374 to grow by 10% as compared to last year's figure. The number of people having emigrated from Armenia in the past 3 years totaled 160 thous (5% of the population),” the daily said. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
