Syrian rebels threaten to attack Ukrainian, Russian embassies

PanARMENIAN.Net - Syrian rebels have threatened to attack the embassies of Ukraine and Russia, saying that these countries’ nationals as well as Iranians would be attacked by ‘mojahedin’.

A video statement featuring the rebels who had previously abducted Ukrainian reporter Ankhar Kochneva, was aired by Ukraine TV channel on Wednesday, Dec 12.

“This is our response to a statement from Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry about their spy Ankhar Kochneva, who had a gun with her and worked for Russian officers as an interpreter”, rebels said.

Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry declines to comment, The Voice of Russia reported.
