JUNE 4 ANNOUNCED ARMENIA DAY IN US VIRGINIA STATE

PanARMENIAN.Net - City authorities of Alexandria (VA) decided last week to announce June 4 the Day of Armenia, city Mayor William D. Euille stated in the course of an Armenian Festival Day held in Alexandria, reported the Press Service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry. Being adjacent to the capital of Washington, Alexandria is a sister city of Armenian Gyumri. The festival was organized with the support of the Armenian Embassy in the US. Armenian folk music and dances, as well as Armenian cuisine dishes were presented at the festival.
