AZERI FOREIGN MINISTRY: OSKANIAN-MAMEDYAROV TALKS PROGRESSIVE, BUT NOT SIMPLE

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Paris talks of Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia Elmar Mamedyarov and Vartan Oskanian were progressive, however not simple, citing the Azeri FM stated head of the Department of Information of the Azeri Foreign Ministry Tair Tagizade, reported Trend agency. Referring to the Azeri FM, the Azeri Foreign Ministry official representative said subject to the Mamedyarov-Oskanian talks, held with participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in Paris June 17, included the known 7-9 components of settlement of the conflict, of which the Azeri FM had spoken before. These are «withdrawal of troops from the occupied territories, deployment of peacekeeping forces, etc.» The talks are considered the continuation of the Prague peace process over settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. An arrangement over a recurrent visit of the mediators to the region was also made at the meeting. It is scheduled in mid-June, T. Tagizade reported.
