ANC squandered away people’s votes – RPA rep.

PanARMENIAN.Net - A member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) noted parliamentary elections as the most important political event in 2012.

Hovhannes Sahakyan characterized the parliamentary vote was as successful, expressing hope for presidential elections to follow the suit. “We’ll do our best to provide fair and competitive elections in 2013,” the told a December 24 news conference.

The RPA representative refused to comment on the candidate of Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc. “The split inside ANC is obvious, and I have no wish to voice my opinion on the matter.”

“ANC has squandered away people’s votes,” he concluded.
