Over 16.000 instances of Azeri ceasefire violation reported in 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - 2012 was remarkable for the conduction of CSTO military drills, Armenian Defense Ministry’s spokesman said.

“Over 16.000 instances of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani armed forces were reported in 2012, against 12.000 and 7.300 cases recorded in 2011 and 2010 respectively. Meanwhile, Armenia fired far fewer shots in retaliation,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan said, noting prevention of anti-Armenian propaganda by Azerbaijan as a priority task.

“We are responsible for proper protection of our homeland and intervention in response to Baku’s mean attempts to get beyond bounds,” he said.
