Paper: Prosperous Armenia hopes to win Yerevan mayoral race

PanARMENIAN.Net - Some of Prosperous Armenia provincial representatives have renounced party affiliation following leader Gagik Tsarulyan’s decision not to run for president, 168 Zham daily reported.

“Prosperous Armenia provincial representatives who earlier cooperated with members of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) have voiced concerns over losing their jobs. Though, a large number of representatives have submitted applications to leave the party, Prosperous Armenia elite have voiced confidence in wining Yerevan mayoral elections, trying to avert the outflow of provincial members, the paper said.
