Jackie Chan's “Chinese Zodiac” release date setDecember 25, 2012 - 17:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Jackie Chan's latest movie Chinese Zodiac will hit US theaters in the summer of 2013, it has been announced. The film, written, directed by and starring Chan, tells the story of a man searching for a series of mystical artifacts based on the Chinese zodiac. Director of distribution Ramy Choi told The Hollywood Reporter that the film will open on "a few hundred screens" in either the spring of summer of next year, and will be released simultaneously in Europe, Digital Spy said. Chinese Zodiac topped box-office lists in several countries during its recent run in Asian markets. The movie, which also stars Oliver Platt and Liao Fan, opened at number one in Singapore, China, Malaysia and Thailand. Jackie Chan currently has several new projects in the works, including a new movie with Rush Hour co-star Chris Tucker.
