Tourist inflow of 830 000 expected in Armenia in 2012December 26, 2012 - 16:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Economy Ministry posted a projected tourist inflow of 830 000 people as of 2012, despite problems caused by unstable situation in Iran, which affected the number of tourists travelling from the country. However, as Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan told a news conference in Yerevan, a 9,2% upsurge in tourism sector was reported, with an annual growth of 10% expected. The Minister stressed the importance of relevant infrastructures in the development of the sector.
