  Two more candidates leave Armenia’s presidential race  January 10, 2013 - 12:46 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Two more presidential hopefuls announced a decision to withdraw candidacy in Armenia. Coordinator of “Essence of Time” socialist movement Robert Aharonyan and non-partisan Taron Abrahamyan gave up further struggle due to non-payment of the nomination deposit. “I deem it senseless to spend so much money on elections,” Aharonyan told a press conference today, Jan 10. Prosperous Armenia party member Ruben Ayvazyan left the presidential race yesterday, Jan 9.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
