Derenik Dumanyan voiced confidence that the presidential polls will be held in line with the international demands. “Each voter should first assess the candidates’ election campaigns” he said, hailing the campaigns of former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannissian and "National Self-Determination Union" party President Paruyr Hayrikyan. Minister Dumanyan further deemed the candidate of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia as favorite for presidency, voicing confidence for Armenia to hold competitive polls. “The election results are determined by popular vote,” he said.
