KOCHARIAN: INTERREGIONAL COOPERATION - TRUE WAY TO DEVELOP RELATIONS

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the meeting with Ebrahim Derazmisu, the Governor of the Iranian province of Hormozgan, Armenian President Robert Kocharian welcomed the establishment of cooperation between the province and the Ararat region of Armenia. He noted that interregional cooperation is a tested way of strengthening relations. Robert Kocharian also expressed hope that the Armenian-Iranian ties and agreements will remain in force during the tenure of office of the newly elected Iranian President. In his turn Ebrahim Derazmisu conveyed the greetings of former President Mahammad Khatami and added that the incumbent Iranian President will carry on his predecessor's policy towards the neighbor states.
