Armenian Foreign Minister meets CoE official

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Jan11 with newly-appointed Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe in Armenia Oleksandr Pavliuk.

Minister Nalbandian congratulated the official on the appointment, voicing hope that he will contribute to the implementation of joint programs. He further attached special importable to closer cooperation with Mr. Pavliuk during Armenia's Chairmanship of Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.

The CoE representative, in turn, pledged to foster effective implementation of 2012-2014 action plan.

The observer missions’ monitoring of Armenia’s forthcoming presidential elections was further discussed.
