  World Cup 2013 to host Levon Aronian, Vladimir Akopian January 12, 2013 - 15:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - FIDE has published the first list of qualifiers for the World Cup 2013, scheduled for August 10 to September 5, 2013 in Tromso, Norway. Along with Armenian grandmasters Levon Aronian and Vladimir Akopian, the following players also qualified for participation: World Champion and World Cup 2011 semi-finalists Viswanathan Anand (IND), Paul Svidler (RUS), Alexander Grischuk (RUS), Vassily Ivanchuk (UKR), and Ruslan Ponomariov (UKR).
