Roadside bomb kills 14 Pakistani soldiers![]() January 13, 2013 - 16:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A roadside bomb struck an army convoy in northwest Pakistan, killing 14 soldiers and wounding 25 others Sunday, Jan 13 officials said. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack in North Waziristan, one of seven districts in Pakistan's volatile tribal region bordering Afghanistan. Security analysts have described the region as a haven for various factions of Afghan and Pakistani Taliban and al Qaeda militants, and it has been targeted frequently by suspected U.S. drones for years. Militant groups have retaliated by attacking government forces, CNN reported. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
