Samsung to unveil 8-inch Galaxy Note at Mobile World Congress – reportJanuary 20, 2013 - 17:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil an 8-inch model of its Galaxy Note tablet at the Mobile World Congress next month, Digital Spy said. SamMobile claims to have received a leaked specs sheet for the device, which is said to be in development under the codename of GT-N5100. The device has been touted as a competitor to Apple's iPad mini, outdoing the iOS device in the display stakes with a 1280x800 Super Clear LCD display. Other reported specs include 2GB of RAM, 3G connectivity, a 5-megapixel camera on the rear and a 1.3-Megapixel snapped on the front, as well as an 4,600-mAh battery. The tablet is also expected to run Google's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and come equipped with the same pen stylus as the other Galaxy Note devices.
