Presidential campaign officially launches in ArmeniaJanuary 21, 2013 - 12:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 2013 presidential campaign officially launched in Armenia today, Jan 21. 8 candidates will run for president: incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan, Heritage party chairman, former foreign minister Raffi Hovannissian, leader of Freedom party, former prime minister Hrant Bagratyan, former foreign minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan, National Self-Determination Union party head Paruyr Hayrikyan, Radio Hay director Andreas Ghukasyan, literature expert Vardan Sedrakyan and National Conciliation Party leader Aram Harutyunyan. Under RA Electoral Code, all candidates will be provided with 60 and 120 minutes of free airtime on public TV and public radio respectively. The campaign will run through Feb 16, 12 pm local time.
