Paper: ‘war’ waged in Syunik province over RPA headquarters chief

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhoghovurd daily, a “war’ is currently being waged in Syunik province for the post of the head of the ruling party campaign headquarters.

Though Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine director Maxim Hakobyan was confidence that he will assume the post, the province governor Suren Khachatryan can’t put up with the idea.

Moreover, Khachatryan is rumored to have argued with Sisian city mayor, Prosperous Armenia party member Aghasi Hakobjanyan over the post, the paper reported.
