"This is the rise and fall season because there are so many characters who come into the season with power of some kind, who lose everything," executive producer David Benioff explains. "And other characters who enter with almost nothing and achieve great power." "This is a season of tremendous reversals of fortune," co-creator D.B. Weiss adds. "I think you will be pleasantly surprised and horrified, in equal measure." HBO's hit fantasy series returns on March 31 with an even bigger cast to fill up longer episodes.
