LITHUANIA GOING TO EXPORT DEMOCRACY TO ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - European Neighborhood Subcommittee - a sub-unit of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Lithuanian Seimas - will engage in dissemination of democracy in EU neighbor states, Subcommittee head, Conservative Emanuelis Zingeris stated. In his words, the Subcommittee he is in charge of will try to ensure that "having successfully been released from the soviet yoke, Lithuania will become an example for those countries." Zingeris emphasized that the Subcommittee that is going export democracy to Belarus, Ukraine and the countries of the South Caucasus - Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia - will coordinate its activities with respective structures of Poland. The Subcommittee will convene its first session in the autumn, Rosbalt reported.
